We have the joy of watching my four year old, Great Nephew during week days. Being that Dax is non-verbal, a Nurse Practitioner who has two children with similar issues, recommended I look into Bentonite Clay baths. My search ended with the Kid's Clear product. I like the purity and US based production of the clay. My thoughts that this would make a huge difference in Dax's ability to speak and advert some of the behavioral issues he displays was a bit skeptical, but I thought we would give it a try.
Dax has had three Clay baths (one per week to start out) and the results have been amazing. In three weeks, Dax has added five new words to his vocabulary, used two words together, and associates the words in the proper context for what he is wanting to communicate.
His mom has noted that 'He was happier and brighter. He paid more attention to her and tried to communicate more. She said he went to bed better than he had all week.'
His Teacher at his Early Childhood Intervention class stated that Dax is using a lot more words and gestures to communicate.
